Pulling this leve r further back will slow the right track even more and your right turn becomes much shorte r. While traveling, slowly pulling back on,say, the right lever, causes power to be released from the right track and the Mini-Dozer will smooth- ly begin a r ight turn. A feather touch forward on both levers causes power to be applied to each track and the Mini-Dozer moves smartly forward. Each of the two levers controls it s own separate track. Rather, each "web- foot" track (b ecaus e there are so many) receives much less weight and therefore the Mini-Dozer literally "floats " along th e ground with barely a trace of where it has been. This wide traction area also allows the weight of the Mini-Dozer to be spread over a much large r area-no longer do you have to concentra te the»weight over the rear wheels which dig up the turf. Compare this to th e fe w squa re inches permitted by regular rear wheel driven tractors. This track hugs the ground over more than 500 square inches. This type of track gives th e ulti- mate in traction, for now you a re replacing the conven- tional "cleated" tires with a track made of many indi- vidual "web-feet". By the use of a "life-tim e" steel track the Mini- Dozer can travel over almost any terrain without f ear of tire punct ures. Its accomplishment s range from bulldozin g top soil and mowing lawns i n the summer to pushing snow and "snowmobiling" in th e winter. Its uniquene ss comes fro m its ability to do many more jobs around the home and farm than could have ever been expected of conventional rear wheel driven tractors. ![]() The Mini-Dozer is a totally new concept in small garde n tracto rs. He has a bunch of other stuff too, but I can't quite tell what.Than k you for your interest in the revolutionary new Mini-Dozer. I take backroads around here early in the morning on Sundays, just to drink coffee and look for goodies, and found a place with several old cases, and the rear end of a Struck dozer peeking out of a lean-to. I also found one on my weekly Sunday morning drive a few miles from the house. This is his second time listing it this year. Looks like he put it on ebay with a parts machine. The hydraulics look familar :) Definitely will be more resistant to getting stuck.ĭan, I belive Struck is the brand. I declined saying I have too much stuff at the moment and did not need another "project" sitting in the garage.Īfter seeing a pic of a real life one, I'd surely love to have one, but unless almost given to me, I'd have to pass as well. I went to Indiana last Thursday to pick up a Simplicity 725 with grader blade and spotted this up by the fellows garage. The democracy will cease to exist when you take away from those who are willing to work and give to those who would not. ![]() Just think of the lawn you would tear up each time you spun a track. You could make on your lawn mowing with it. That said, I would love to have one just to play with, and who knows, I could be a little off on it's capabilities.but not by much I don't think.ĭaniel in Ky - So much to do, so little time! I figure if they were that great at working, they'd still be made today. For ultra light work I think it would get by ok. I have a 9,400lb hi-lift IH T340 crawler and it can do a lot, but anything that small I just can't see having enough power & traction. I believe it would be more fun than effective. I really like the rear mounted grader with gauge wheels. Now that would be a really effective and fun tool. ANd probably did!!!ĩ18H Agco-Allis, and a 928D Grasshopper Diesel. I'd bet money a company today would get sued for advertising loading it like that on two boards and no head room. I would love to have a weekend project like that in my garage! I like the sales point of it being considered a weekend project to put together. I had to sit down and read the whole brochure right after purchasing it. Pay attention, or pay the consequences, the choice is yours. One of those machines I've wanted to play with for years, hasn't happened yet.ĭid anyone else notice the one pic of Larry loading one into a Ford fullsize van? Looks like a nice fit. ![]() ![]() "They that can give up essential liberty to obtain a little temporary safety deserve neither safety nor liberty." Didn't know they made so many attachments for the small crawler.
